Mirador del Rio - Lookout Point with a great View

On the slopes of the Risco de Famara, at an altitude of 400 meters, in the northernmost area of the island, César Manrique has probably created one of his most representative architectural achievements.

It is a building hardly noticeable from the outside, hidden under a heavy stony layer like chameleons adapt to the environment.

What is to see there?

Spectacular views of the natural park of the Chinijo archipelago, the island Isla de La Graciosa and the mountains Montaña Clara, Roque del Oeste and in the background the northernmost island of the Canaries Alegranza.
